Policy support for systems change

February 01, 2019

MEAM Approach areas recognise that there are systemic barriers which prevent individuals from receiving the right support and achieving their full potential.  Through the work of their operational and strategic groups, they are committed to identifying and addressing these barriers.

While some systemic barriers can be addressed by changes to local practice and cultures, others will require changes to local or national policy.

As part of our funding from Lankelly Chase, our embedded policy team will be working to support two MEAM Approach areas that want to do focused work on a systemic barrier that requires local policy change.

For more information on this opportunity please see this short presentation.

We would like to speak to all areas interested in exploring an issue through a Local Policy Inquiry Group. For any questions please speak to either your Partnership Manager or contact our Policy & Practice Manager, Laura Greason on laura.greason@meam.org.uk

To express an interest in forming a Local Policy Inquiry Group please complete this short proposal form and submit to laura.greason@meam.org.uk by Friday 15 March.
