In July the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) announced an eight week public consultation Strengthening probation, building confidence, on the future of probation services.
MEAM submitted a briefing to support the consultation highlighting the importance of partnership and coordination at a local level in effective rehabilitation. Exploring four key themes from the consultation document, it shows how learning from MEAM Approach and Fulfilling Lives areas could help support the development of a more integrated and coordinated probation system.
